Chef Cox welcomes Chef Rocky Maselli from A16 in Oakland, Chef Suzette Gresham of Acquarello in San Francisco and Chef Jeff Fitzgerald of Dio Deka in Los Gatos. Move around the restaurant sampling dishes from each of these amazing chefs alongside a specially paired wine of their choice and additional offerings from Hirsch Winery along the Sonoma Coast. These gifted Sommeliers include Ted Glennon of Restaurant 1833, Thomas Perez of Kristi Lynn Wines, Jeff Bareilles of Manresa, Jeff Birkemeier, Wine Director of Casanova in Carmel who are on hand to stimulate and educate even the most experienced wine connoisseurs about the hidden gems among wines. This is one of the most pristine properties in all of Big Sur! From truly majestic ocean views to the cathedral of the redwoods, this will be the third year that our dear friends have given us permission to lead only 30 guests up a steep climb, lead by the property caretaker, who also owns property adjacent. A quick snack after the hike into the canyon and its magical light play between the enormous redwoods, and then back for a gorgeous lunch prepared by Ted Walter of Passionfish along side Ryme Wine Cellars and hand wines provided by the property owners Ask anyone who has done this hike, and they’ll tell you that for the great effort, it’s absolutely worth it! $175
