Born in Guatemala, Chef Kevin Paredes came to the United States twelve years ago to pursue a career in pastry. His first job was at Patisserie Bechler in Pacific Grove. Over the years, Chef Paredes moved to different places, guided by his vision to one day become a pastry chef at a recognized place. In 2025, a big door opened when Chef Paredes became the Pastry Sous Chef at Sierra Mar at Post Ranch Inn.
