For more than three decades, Chef Todd Fisher has helped shape the culinary landscape of California's Central Coast. From iconic kitchens at Pebble Beach Resorts and Monterey favorites to nationally recognized restaurants and his award-winning butcher shop, Todd has built a career rooted in craftsmanship, hospitality, and an unwavering belief that great food begins with great relationships.

Raised in California's agricultural community, Todd learned early that exceptional cooking starts long before a recipe is written. His lifelong commitment to responsible sourcing has led him to build lasting partnerships with farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and producers who share his belief that integrity on the farm creates excellence on the plate.

Throughout his career, Todd has led celebrated culinary programs including Stillwater Bar & Grill at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, Tarpy's Roadhouse, Folktale Winery, and Seventh & Dolores Steakhouse. During his tenure at Seventh & Dolores, he developed the nation's first exclusive Niman Ranch steakhouse menu and launched the brand's first dry-aging program. Under his leadership, the restaurant earned a Michelin Plate distinction and was invited to cook at the legendary James Beard House in New York City.

Today, Todd and his wife, Ada, own and operate The Meatery in Seaside, California, recognized by USA Today as the Best Independent Butcher Shop in California. More than a butcher shop, The Meatery is a reflection of Todd's philosophy: chef-driven craftsmanship, old-school service, responsibly sourced ingredients, and creating a place where food has the power to bring people together.

Beyond the kitchen, Todd has traveled the country as host of Discovery Network's The United States of Bacon, serves as a longtime ambassador for Niman Ranch, and has been honored as Monterey County's Favorite Chef. He is a frequent speaker, culinary educator, and advocate for supporting local agriculture while mentoring the next generation of cooks, chefs, and food professionals.

For Todd, cooking has never simply been about feeding people—it has always been about building community. Whether cooking for local charities, collaborating with fellow chefs, feeding Monterey Bay FC before every home match, or welcoming guests into The Meatery, his greatest satisfaction comes from creating experiences that make people feel like family.

While his résumé is filled with awards and accomplishments, the titles he treasures most remain Husband to his beautiful bride, Ada, and Father to five remarkable children.

Although the kids have grown up and begun building lives of their own, every holiday season finds the Fisher family back behind the counter together—wrapping roasts, serving customers, and proving that, for the Fishers, hospitality has always been a family tradition.
